“Personal Statement Plus Addendums"
- The Personal Statement is your voice on paper. It tells the Committee on Admissions what is unique about your background and why you are seeking admission to law school. The process of writing your personal statement includes consultations with me, starting with brainstorming and ending with the final proofreading of the essay. I will help you find your voice so that you articulate accurately why you are seeking a law career. Additionally, many law schools seek a diversity statement which we will tailor to fit your background. Lastly, many applicants choose to submit addendums with their applications. This is really a personal decision, but I can give guidance as to when it is appropriate to submit addendums and when it is not. Working together on just the Personal Statement and/or Addendums is ideal for J.D. applicants who have a well-planned strategy and want to ensure the main written elements of their application are as effective as possible.
What’s Included:
- Working directly with me, Joanna Nudelman, to create your strongest possible personal statement, including assistance with topic selection, strategy, presentation, and effective writing.
- Strategy for any additional supplemental statements and/or diversity statements.
- Quick turnaround time for all edits.
- Proofreading and editing of final drafts.
